Was orphaned by age 10-lived with paternal aunt, Helen Wallace,in Danvers,Ma.
In her 70's, made afghans for all three children, 9 grandchildren, and all
great-grandchildren born up to that point.
Worked as a pastry cook for many years--at Adams House in Marblehead, Howard
Johnson's, etc. Restaurant manager at Howard Johnson's in Lynn, Ma.
Mildred was a voracious reader - had a library of over 500 books, accumulated
in her 80's. Excellent memory, even in later years! Loved her family.
Suffered a cerebral hemorrhage AE 57. Recovered nicely. Had exceptionally
beautiful complexion - fair skin, no pores,no wrinkles.
Father-in-law said, "Not one of her girls could hold a candle to the way she
looked at our ages". Millie had light blue eyes (rimmed with dark blue) and
chestnut colored hair. Member of NS Daughters of the American Revolution;
Colonial Dames Seventeenth Century; Piscataqua Pioneers; Descendants of
Washington's Army at Valley Forge. Died on Friday at 11:25 AM (Norma & Carole
with her.) Funeral 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Solimini, Landregan & Rhodes Funeral
Home, 67 Ocean Street, Lynn. Rev. William Simpson, Bethany United Cburch of
Christ, officiated. Shari gave a beautiful and stirring eulogy, copies of which
were made for all to keep. (Buried in Lot 95, Section E, Grave 2, Puritan Lawn
Memorial Park, Peabody, Ma.) Mildred Elizabeth Marston had person sources.1

Edgar was devoted to his wife; took excellent care of her in later years.

and walked the five miles to Glastonbury to visit grand-daughter, Norma and
family. Edgar was the "son" part of the J.J.H. Gregory and Son Seed Company
in Marblehead, Mass, which was founded by his adoptive father, J.J.H. Gregory.
The Seed House was located at 56 Back Street, Marblehead, Ma. In 1906
Marblehead Directory, was listed as wholesale and retail seedsman.

she wore in a bun weekdays, and waved on Sundays. Owned and operated a lending
library in Lynn, Ma. around the "Depression Years". Wore colored crystal drop
earrings, and beads - which she had her grand-daughters restring every time
they came to visit. Warren also worked at the combination bird store and
library. Dell was the 4th cousin, 2 times removed of James garfield, 20th

Warren was a kind and gentle man, never marrying. At age 65, he perished in
a fire in his rooming house on Pleasant Street. Marblehead, Ma--next to
the old post office. His grandfather,J.J.H.Gregory, copyrighted the "Warren
Squash" in 1889, and Warren was named after the squash.
"J.J.H."also named a squash,the "Hubbard Squash" after an elderly lady in
Marblehead, who was known as "Marm Hubbard". She brought the squash to him
stating it was the best squash she had ever tasted.
At his funeral even the neighbor kids came to pay their respects. Funeral
director (Mrs. Blanche Nichols Stone) said Warren had never hurt anyone in his
