Elizabeth Whitmarsh was born PRHPS 11 AUG 1733. Nathaniel Joy and she were married on 26 November 1751 in Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts.1,2,3 John Hamburg and she had marriage banns published on 3 May 1770 in Abington, Plymouth, Massachusetts.4
It's hard to sort out who her parents were. The Joy Genealogy says: "Perhaps the dau. of Jobn and Rachel (Ward) Whitmarsh, who was b. Hingham, Aug. 11, 1733." Stowell Genealogy says "dau. of John and Rachel (Ward) Whitmarsh," I have not been able to find a record of this birth. Elizabeth Whitmarsh is possibly the same as. She had person sources.5 (I've found none of the children's births listed in Abington VR.)
