PLATT Ruggles's Death Certificate says that she died of tuberculosis, and had been living at Cleveland State Hospital for more than 14 years at the time of her death. The death certificate indicates parents "unknown here". There is no indication of contact with her daughter, Louise Platt RUGGLES. Hospital records her as a widow. She was admitted in August, 1904.

Cleveland OH. Charles became its owner and President. It operated in Cleveland until about 1963, when competition from gas and oil heat drove the company to liqidate. It had operated since the latter part of the 19th Century.
