Biography

Claude Jean-Baptiste A(ime) Prevost was born about 1800 in Saint-Domingue (Haiti.) He and Julie Lewary were married on 12 April 1822 in Baltimore, Maryland.¹ He died on 12 February 1885 at 550 W. Franklin St. in Baltimore, Maryland.^2,3 He was buried at New Cathedral Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland.

In August 1843 Claude Jean-Baptiste A(ime) Prevost, Sr, was an instructor at the East Baltimore Institute in Baltimore, Maryland.⁴ He was burgled of silver spoons and plates on 31 October 1843 in Baltimore, Maryland.⁵ He appeared in the census on 9 July 1850 at Ward 19 in Baltimore, Maryland. He and Margaret Louise Catherine ("Julia") Servary appeared in the census on 18 July 1870 in Baltimore, Maryland.⁶
