Biography

Margaret A Paralee Black was born on 29 April 1847 in Mississippi. Wilbert Asgill ("W.A.") Huffman and she were married on 3 September 1877. She died on 2 July 1911 at age 64. She was buried at Bear Creek Cemetery in McCool, Attala, Mississippi.¹

(Some sources give parentage as Milton Black (1818-1890) and Frances Winter (1827-1890) but without sources.) Wilbert Asgill ("W.A.") Huffman and Margaret A Paralee Black appeared in the census on 23 July 1870 in Choctaw Co, Mississippi.² Wilbert Asgill ("W.A.") Huffman and she appeared in the census in 1880 at Northeast in Attala Co., Mississippi.³ She appeared in the census in 1900 in McCool, Attala, Mississippi.⁴
