Peter Tallman was born before 20 February 1623 at or nearby in Hamburg, Germany. He and Ann Hill were married about 1648 in Barbados. He and Ann Hill were divorced in May 1665 in Rhode Island. He and Joan Briggs signed a marriage contract on 24 July 1665. He and Joan Briggs were married after 24 July 1665. He and Esther [Tallman] were married in 1686. He died in 1708 in Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island.

Peter Tallman and Ann Hill lived in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island, BY MAR 1650. (He is also listed in Noyes-Gilman Ancestry, which gives a different account of his origins but does not seem authoritative.) He had person sources.^1,2 He immigrated in 1647 to Barbados. After 2 June 1648, Peter Tallman and Ann Hill immigrated to Rhode Island onboard "Golden Dolphin." He lived in Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island, from December 1658. The estate of Peter Tallman was probated in 1708.
