John Childerstone, (#2), was surety on estate of Sarah Thomas in 1774 in Dorchester Co., Maryland.² He served in the military in 1776 in Dorchester Co., Maryland.³ He paid property tax on "Partnership" land in 1783 in Dorchester Co., Maryland.⁴ He applied for license to sell liquor in October 1804 in Dorchester Co., Maryland.⁵ He sold 100 acres of "Partnership" to Levin W. Childerston on 6 September 1814.⁶ He prosecuted for debt from 27 June 1821 to 25 October 1821 in Dorchester Co., Maryland.⁷
