Many of them were adopted but was a simple adoption, not a complete one, so the adoptive parents didn't gave them their surnames. In any case is very difficult to find people in Bizkaia without this surname in their ancestry. Cat(h)alina Abendibar Bilbatuazpicoa was baptized (infant) on 15 December 1733 in San Juan Evangelista, Berriz, Vizcaya, Spain.²
