Militia during the Revolutionary War.4 He served in the military in Hezekiah Holcomb's Co., 18th Conn. militia from 26 August 1776 to 25 September 1776 in New York.5,6 He appeared in the census in 1790 in Granby, Hartford, Connecticutt. He was appointed legal guardian to his grandchildren, Lyman and Laura Moore in March 1811 in Trumbull Co, Ohio.7
