Ephram Cannon was born in 1737 in Charleston, Charleston Co., South Carolina. He and Eleanor Paden were married. He and Unknown [Cannon] were married. He died after 11 December 1802 in Pomaria, Newberry, South Carolina. Ephriam Cannon, born 1737, died 1803, married ( 2) Mrs. Eleanor Paden Caldwell, born 24 September 1734, Larne, Ireland, died about 1804. She was first married in Ireland in 1754 to John Caldwell. Ephriam Cannon had a 200 acre survey of 1769 in the area of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and deeded much of this survey in 1783 to son, David Cannon (Nby Deeds B-225). This land is shown on Mills Map of 1825 as land of Col. Cannon. Ephraim Cannon made will 11Dec 1802, proven 2 May 1803 (Nby Probate file 25-9). The estate of Ephram Cannon was probated. He had person sources.1 He made a will on 11 December 1802.

John Cannon

Biography
John Cannon was born in 1712. He and Ann [Cannon] were married. He died between 4 October 1762 and April 1763. John Cannon, who settled in Newberry District, SC, was a descendant of Rich Cannon of County Dover, England. According to the research of Mrs. Whitfield of Dallas, TX, John Cannon sailed for America at the age of 18 as an indentured servant on the ship "Minerva," out of London. John Cannon arrived in S.C. about the time it was opened up as a Royal Colony of England. He was later followed to the Province by his younger brother, Daniel Cannon.
John had two wives, with first wife named Ann, and second wife named Mary. John Cannon had person sources.1 He owned 550 acres from February 1750 in Newbury Co, South Carolina. He made a will on 4 October 1762. The estate of John Cannon was probated on 4 April 1763 in Charleston, Charleston Co., South Carolina.
