This is all a theory based on Margaret Childerson's living with the Murray family in 1850. It could be another Joanna and his ex-mother-in-law was there just because she had no place else to go. He served in the military in Capt. Tilghman's Independent Battery between 1846 and 1848 in Mexico.1 In 1850 David Murray was a clerk in Baltimore, Maryland.
