Parents
Biography
Lucy Lewis was born POSS 5 OCT 1727 in Simsbury, Hartford, Connecticut.1,2 Lucy Lewis was born about 1730.3 Job Phelps and she were married. I have two sets of parents for Lucy because I'm sorting her out. The Phelps genealogy says "possibly born 5 Oct., 1727, Capt. John Lewis."
The Newell genealogy says that the daughter of Capt. Jonathan Lewis married Noah Stanley. So, it's probably not her. Lucy Lewis had person sources.4 (The births of all of their children are recorded at Windsor, Conn.) She was reported to have died on 20 November 1757.3
