She died at home in the New Orleans area on 17 September 1970 at age 82 in Louisiana.3,4 She was buried on 18 September 1970 at Garden of Memories Cemetary in Metairie, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.2,4
It is not clear who her parents were. I've probably combined two people of the same name. In 1920 a Lewis Hughes (age 8) and Wally Hughes (5) were listed a boarders living with W.
